Joni gave other Senators Iowa food.

U.S. Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, might spend much of her working life in Washington, D.C. But, according to a tweet sent last week, her heart — and her stomach — is never too far from home.

“Loved showing my colleagues a little taste of Iowa at today’s lunch,” Ernst tweeted.

Ernst served her capitol co-workers several Iowa State Fair staples. That included hot beef sundaes, Iowa pork chops, a “loaded tater tot on a stick,” Mexican street corn, a butter cow with rolls and ice cream from LeMars, Iowa.

My question was if her "taste of Iowa" also included some huevos de toro?

As for Ernst, I think she is very vulnerable but we need a good candidate.
Any ideas?

I would think Rob Hogg will run. Very likable but not really exciting.
