Just talked to Fred Hubbel on the phone

Husband and I are chairing our local caucus this year (as we did last year), so I think that's how he got my number.

Anyway, he talked pretty openly for about half an hour and he seems like a really good choice.

Anyone else have opinions on him, good or bad?

1. He's making a stop in our little town tomorrow

Have seen him a couple of times - he has quite a resume.

I think we have half a dozen really good candidates that I could easily back right now.
As for Hubbell, well, he sure has name recognition. Much more so than any of the others.
Name recognition is often costly and time consuming to come by.

Right now I am much in the shopping stage. Boulton is currently leading in my mind but I am very flexible.

Edit to add - thanks for chairing the caucus. That is a tough job.

2. I think he has a good chance of getting the nom.

Haven't met him but he seems to be running a solid campaign.

I'm leaning toward Nate Boulton at this point.
