Illinois
Related: About this forumOf three announced IL GOP candidates for Governor, none would say 2020 election was legitimate.
They all appeared at the State Fair last week, and the local newscast described them all as in the Trump camp. When asked about the election, they all waffled and fumbled and none would give an answer.
I hope that is good news for Governor Pritzker.
Wild card is Congressman Rodney Davis, who has not announced, but has won in his Democratic leaning District since 2013. He claims he can appeal to Democrats. His current District is in danger of being eliminated.

(22,940 posts)Darren Bailey has signs everywhere around here already. Most of my neighbors support him. He's a local boy.

(705 posts)I've seen a few signs for him in my area (which would vote for Hitler or Bin Laden if -r was behind the name. Seriously, we've had a pol run as a D, lose, and run for an r next time and win - UGH). Upside is IL isn't into voter suppression. Pritzker has done a good job - the mere fact the state's credit rating has improved is good news. He's a rare person with wealth who doesn't live in the rich-bubble.
