But these are facts> the election is less than 20 days away, I have to decide soon, and with eight Democrats crowding ballot, it could take as little as 20 percent of the vote to win.
Think about that.
Raoul and Quinn are ahead of the rest but the Tribune endorsed Sharon Fairley who is on my short list.
Also Drury looks like he could be an activist attorney general and has experience. Same with Mariotti too
I worked with Quinn a long time ago on a project before he was gov. and he is 100%a real good guy but I just don't know if he is the right fit for attorney general.
Who ever it is, will have big shoes to fill with Lisa Madigan leaving . She could be very effective and in place for many terms
My wild card vote would be Andy Goldstein who has the energy and I like his style although he lacks experience imo
If he does not make it I hope I seem him again
I admire them all
The Sun Times did not endorse anyone that I know of
They did endorse JB for gov
The Tribune went with Kennedy
I am thinking of voting for Kennedy as an anti-establishment with a progressive agenda and who does not bow to the Democratic Chicago machine
His votes will be challenging the machine oligarchs even if JB winds up winning
He was first to call out Cook County Assessor and county Chairman Joe Berrios for his clouted, discriminatory property assessment system, and Speaker Madigan for profiting from it.
But again I can not decide so many choices but I will work to gotv for whoever wins the primary, along with AG
Rauner must go and his challenger is even worse!
