Three dead coyotes were found placed on the front porches of University of Idaho Greek houses early Friday morning, echoing an identical incident that took place Jan. 20.
Like the previous incident, the recent animal dumps took place in either late night or early morning, as they were found on Pi Kappa Phi, Pi Beta Phi and Alpha Phi properties between 1:22 a.m. and 4:22 a.m.
Moscow Police Chief James Fry said there is a year-round hunting season on coyotes and all of the animals had been shot.
The matter remains an active investigation.

(118,852 posts)Most of the people are happy and say hello when you walk past them when you are outside. The students are extra friendly to the adults that visit campus because they think that they may be alumni that make the big donations to the university.
When I was a student in the 1980s the campus was not well lit, but now it is extremely well lit at night. Other than some property crime where things are stolen from vehicles there is little crime and I think that the crime is most likely associated with the people in town rather than because of the students.

(1,423 posts)juxtaposition of values and living standards between Idaho and Washington State. For instance, an Idahoan can drive three miles and buy legal marijuana and hashish. Conversely, a Washingtonian can drive to Idaho and play with concealed guns legally. Heck, it's legal for small children to pack heat.
