I support GMO labeling 100%. I do confess though to having eaten a few Rainbow Papayas, but yeah they were bland compared to the non-GMO Sunrise papaya I was able to buy once. I think that's the best selling point, GMO produce lacks flavor! Are Hamakua tomatoes and Manoa lettuce non-GMO?

we need labeling, that's why...there are codes, right? But I don't know what they are.

Pretty sure the Hamakua tomatoes are GMO because the buggers are soooo 'ono. Manoa lettuce has been around forevers though, so should be not GMO.

Till we have a labeling law, who knows, right?

aloha Ellizonz, good to see you.

When neither of us knows if two of the most commonly consumed, marketed, and popular local produce is GMO or not, it's definitely time for labeling. I think it would be great if Hawaii took the lead.

Good to see you too!
