My brother in law, Captain of the boat and fisherman Dominick Gaballo, and best friend Addison Toki just caught a 300 pound marlin, and swimming up right after it was a HUGE great white shark!!!! It looked pretty hungry!!! A great white in Hawaiian waters.......video taken on January 12, 2012

It also brought back memories to me... I lived in Hawaii from age 6 to 10. Loved the accents

(14,489 posts)and his best friend was Samoan, so he quickly learned it from him. Most of my friends were fellow Coast Guard brats, so I didn't really pick it up, but I heard it all the time when we were around town or on the beach, so when I hear someone speaking that way, it instantly brings me back to my island memories. It was a great place to be a kid

These guys are 6 miles off shore and worrying about the guys on West Side. Not your normal reaction...
