Georgia Democratic political director sues Georgia bloggers for libel

The political director of the Georgia Democratic party has filed a libel and slander suit against the operators of two blogs – one Republican and one Democrat — for allegedly mis-characterizing his criminal record.

In a sign of continued party turmoil, Chairman Mike Berlon said he has reason to believe that information on Richey’s background was leaked from office files by a “current” member of the party’s staff – whom he said he was not yet prepared to name.

2. The Democratic Party of Georgia is a mess.

They're scrapping for financial resources and now spend time on this kind of crap rather than organizing and working to have some influence in the state. The Georgia GOP is lovin' it. We are in dire need of some leadership here.
