Mail or Fax Overseas Ballot?

Would someone be able to give me advice on whether to mail or fax my absentee ballot from Thailand? I’m registered in Palm Beach County. Thank you.

1. If you send it

priority mail it should get here on time. It’s expensive and I’m not even sure if priority envelopes are available outside the U.S. Check with their mail service or send it UPS to be sure?? Only 29 days left.

I don’t know if faxed ballots are allowed. In NY no photocopies are allowed.

2. Overseas ballot

Do they not allow you to email? Or is that only for citizens travelling abroad? I thought it applies to you as well.

Well, I would say fax if not email. After that, track if they received.

I had to do that as I was travelling. They allowed email of a scanned ballot. Granted, you have to go to the office in US before leaving and show ids.

5. Not all states allow emailed ballots.

I know Texas does not but I don't know about Florida.

4. I sent mine UPS this year, last few elections FedEx

(I voted in the Netherlands). I have no idea how long it takes for your mail to arrive. I was concerned, probably completely unjustly, about the US post with DeJoy in charge. I haven't ever tried fax. I guess it's secure? Whatever you decide, good luck!
