I'm told there has to be an exact match. Mine has my middle initial; my license has my full middle name. I have only been voting here in the same county since 1998. I think my license had just my middle initial until I finally got the gold star for Dubyah's "Real ID" law.

I changed my registration online. The platform is not user friendly. It would not accept my address until I left out my apartment number. Then, a drop-down
menu appeared, and I could add it.

2. I got a notice from my election board about my incorrect address. I went down to the board of elections to

check to see what the problem was. Turn out I signed a petition and the way they verify if I am a resident of my county is with my registration at the board of elections. The person recording my petition misread my address which flagged my "notice of address change" The person at the election office was very nice about it, checked my drivers license and the previously recorded address and cleared up the confusion..
I wanted to make sure my vote counts this year.
After all I live in Florida and "strange" things can happen here....
