We project a marginally warm and dry October for the D.C. area.

It may be similar to September, which also was somewhat warm and dry.

With that dreary, soggy end of September behind us, October is welcoming the D.C. area with comfortably warm and sunny days. Much of the week ahead features sunshine with warm highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. While we expect swings in the weather this month, we predict October will end up slightly warmer and drier than normal overall, much like last month.
