Related: About this forumAm I the only one creeped out by Tom Foley's campaign ads?
He's running one where he is with his grandchildren and I swear I would hide my grandkids from that guy! Now, John Rowland was repulsive, too, but not creepy.
I did read somewhere that Foley has Bell's Palsy and it sometimes distorts his face, so I will cut him some slack on that. But he seems to constantly have this weird look on his face like he's not quite "there." At best, he looks plain bored.
And this guy is leading Malloy by 6 points?
OK, apart from the creepiness there is also his whole agenda. Don't people understand what he's going to do to this state? Don't people remember where CT was when Malloy took office? Rowland and Rell had screwed up the state's economy big time. What was Malloy supposed to?
Besides, Malloy is committed to raising the minimum wage to $10.10 and has achieved guaranteed paid sick leave. And the ACA has been a huge success in CT. We are a far more progressive state now than we were when he took office.
I'll be doing some phone bank work for him but unfortunately I can't GOTV on election day as I will be out of the country. So I'll be getting my absentee ballot soon...
