Second rabid skunk found in Greeley

http://www.greeleytribune.com/news/6823297-113/department-skunk-health-animal

A second skunk found in Greeley has tested positive for rabies, authorities said Thursday. The first skunk was found Monday in the 100 block of 23rd Avenue, and the second was found Tuesday in the 2100 block of 7th Street. Both tested positive for the virus after undergoing tests at the Weld County Health Department, according to a news release. . .

And then there's this:

Weld County commissioners propose formation of new state, North Colorado

Weld County commissioners today announced that they, alongside other northeastern Colorado counties, are seeking to form a new state — North Colorado.

Commissioners said a “collective mass” of issues have cumulated over the past several years that isolate rural Colorado from the rest of the state and put those counties at a disadvantage.
. . .

Coincidence? I think not.

No real difference between rabid skunks with 2 legs or 4.

Rabid skunks, big agriculture, and fracking! Sounds like a teabagger utopia.

They'd probably double Wyoming's population and unskew Wyoming's electoral advantage, while guaranteeing a blue CO.

I don't know why they don't just go full bore though and demand the right to secede from the US. Just being a new state won't get them out from under the 'nightmare' of Obamacare.
