Grand Junction fertility doctor accused of impregnating women with own sperm gives up medical license
The Grand Junction doctor accused of using his own sperm in artificial insemination procedures has surrendered his medical license, according to state records.
While state and local agencies have been mum on what action they might be taking based on the civil lawsuit against Dr. Paul B. Jones, Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies records show numerous actions dated Friday regarding his license, the last of which notes a voluntary surrender. Other actions were labeled "combined w/other case for action."
Jones, a fertility doctor in the Grand Junction area for decades, is accused in a civil suit of using his own sperm to impregnate patients using artificial insemination.
The
Daily Sentinel reached out to the Colorado Attorney General's Ofice on the matter, which said it was not involved at this time.
