2012 personhood initiative - it's BAAACCCKKK

Here we go again, AGAIN!

Despite failing by a 3-1 margin in 2008 and 2010, Personhood Colorado is back again, gathering signatures to put another so-called "personhood" measure on the 2012 Colorado ballot.

And this third attempt is no charm.

It's simply another sneaky effort using slightly altered wording to trick voters into adopting their anti-choice agenda.

We won't stand for it, and we hope you'll join us.

Sign our Pledge to Oppose the so-called "personhood" measure.

We already know the dangerous and far-reaching consequences "personhood" measures could bring to Colorado, including:

Banning all abortion, even in cases of rape and incest
Outlawing common forms of contrapception
And much more...
Today, sign the pledge to oppose the so-called "personhood" measure and pledge to do what you can to make sure that in Colorado, your health care decisions are your business!

With your help, we know we can defeat this dangerous measure.

"In Roe vs. Wade, Justice Harry Blackmun noted, “The appellee and certain amici argue that the fetus is a ‘person’ within the language and meaning of the Fourteenth Amendment. In support of this, they outline at length and in detail the well-known facts of fetal development. If this suggestion of personhood is established, the appellant's case, of course, collapses, for the fetus' right to life would then be guaranteed specifically by the (Fourteenth) Amendment.”
