So, are the Democrats in Sacramento finally going to take on recall reform?

Or, are they going to sit on their asses, cross their fingers and continue to collect their paychecks? I don’t want to see this state go through that shit one more time.

At the least, rewrite it so in the event of a recall the Lt. Governor assumes the office . . . Journeyman Nov 2021 #1

That would kill the frivolous attempts while leaving the option open for true and meaningful efforts.

I just don't understand it: If the Governor became incapacitated, or otherwise was unable to continue in his position, the Lt. Governor would move into the office. Why, in a recall attempt, must it become a free-for-all that allows anyone with $5 and a fresh set of clothes to proclaim they deserve to take the Governor's place? Let's do away with the idiocy and the idiots who claim the right to pursue it. Put the Lt. Governor in line during a recall to assume the duties the people voted for them to be in waiting to do, and all the air will be sucked out of any partisan attempt at a legal coup.
