Related: About this forumBenton police charge parents in accidental shooting death of two-year-old
The Benton Police Department has announced the manslaughter arrest of parents in the death of a two-year-old who shot himself in the head with a .45 pistol in his home. KARK previously had identified the child as Doyle David Ashley.
More details to follow.
It's the second arrest in a week of adults connected with guns used by children in apparently accidental shootings. Little Rock police charged a woman who left her nephew in a car with a Glock last week. He fatally wounded himself.

(27,247 posts)1. When I was around 4 years old,
my 6-year-old neighbor invited me over to his house to show me something. He opened the drawer of an end table and inside was a gun. I guess it was real, because his father started cussing up a storm about that, and I high-tailed it out of there.

should not be held responsible if their child is possessed by the debil.

Can a 5-year-old .22-caliber Crickett rifle?
"Investigators said the family didn't realize the gun was loaded."
Also I don't think a 2-year-old can load a Glock .45!!
