Arkansas Democrats pursue FOIA ballot measure, take aim at LEARNS Act at 2025 session - KATVchannel7



LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Arkansas Democrats have come out swinging at this year's legislative session, with a slew of bills filed as part of their 2025 'Better Arkansas Agenda.'

KATV spoke with House Minority Leader Andrew Collins, (D) District 73, to learn more about the party's goals this session.

Democrats have filed dozens of bills, 39 sponsored by Collins, many of which are a direct response to Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders' policies in her first two years in office.

"We focused on four areas, and that's maternal health, public education, mental health, and defending our democracy," Collins said.
