Yeah, I know. This has already been posted. I'm posting this again anyway, as I have to keep my filing system up to date.

I'd like to see this episode again, but I don't know if or when "The Monkees" is on free, OTA (over-the-air) broadcast TV, which is the kind I watch. The ending is great, when several members of the production crew come out from behind the scenes.

Yesterday, I caught the end of the Monkees Christmas TV show where they bring out all the crew members at the end. That's a good episode.

The Monkees try to instill the spirit of Christmas in a cynical little boy (Butch Patrick) who has soured on the whole idea.

Song: "Riu Chiu" (sung by the Monkees a cappella)
Notes: No laugh track. Instead of the standard closing credits, the Monkees appear on the set and invite many of the behind-the-scenes staff and crew members to appear with them on camera. The closing credits appear over the joyful crowd. As part of an elf costume, Davy wears Mike's iconic green wool cap.
