Yeah, the Dad was wrong for using a cell phone in the theater and throwing popcorn at him.

So, instead of getting management, getting a refund, yelling and leaving, or something much more rational, he shoots and kills the Dad. WTF???? You are afraid for your life because of a cell phone? You are afraid for your life because of popcorn? Was the Dad going to take over the theater?

Reeves is a murderer. He was angry, use to getting his way and no stranger to using a weapon on people.
