Any Young Sheldon fans here?

They are starting to go to the 'dark side' with George flirting with having an affair.

I know they are following the storyline that was set in The Big Bang Theory,
but it is strange to see this comedy show becoming a drama.

1. Young Sheldon fan here.

I'm not crazy about where it's going, either. I was kind of hoping they'd decide to inore that part f the Big Bang Theory canon. It wouldn't be the first time a TV show or spinoff changed canons in midstream, so to speak. Still hoping it won't go all the way to where it seems to be going.

2. From what I have read around online

They do tend to take it to the point where George dies.

In TBBT Sheldon is 14 at the time.

I couldn't remember how old Sheldon was when that happened.

I guess I'd better buckle my seatbelt. It looks like it's going to be a bumpy ride!

7. Only watching the reruns but a big fan.

The more I watch, the more respect I have for the Dad. He stands up for Sheldon but doesn’t isn’t overprotective of him.

3. Well crap. The way my local shows are, I usually see way more of the older episodes. Hate to see

George and the show head into that. I'm still trying to figure out how I might be able to impress Meemaw.
