A question for all you Jeopardy buffs

Did they start making the Final Jeopardy question easier? I’ve been getting it correct waaaay too often and the answers/questions seem super easy. I ain’t no genius, not by any stretch, and used to only be able to answer Final correctly maybe once a week.

I really like that they have been including a music category in every game.

I might be a little slow on the uptake, but just realized a couple days ago that you can stream Netflix in the car and the audio will run through the speakers. Been catching up with Jeopardy during my commute. The visual clues are a wash, though, lol! It sure makes the drive go by so fast.

Sometimes the categories and Final Jeopardy hit your personal sweet spot, and sometimes they are way off in left field.

One not-so-scientific method for measuring the difficulty is the number of Final Jeopardy clues that are triple stumpers - that none of the three contestants get right. In the first eleven weeks of this season, there have been eleven TS. In the first eleven weeks of the 2019-2020 season, there were twelve. The difference that leads one to believe that Jeopardy is easier this year, is that there have been no triple stumpers for the last three weeks.

(Why do I know all this stuff? What sort of a weird geek am I? Well, I'm a former contestant, from early 2019. I was leading throughout my game, but lost in Final Jeopardy. The contestant who came in third in that game was a four-day champion, who ended up in the Tournament of Champions. She didn't know the answer either. The guy who won got it right and went on to win four games himself.)

in 2016. She was on for two games.

It was fun to be in the audience and see how the show is put together.

I would say that they do seem easier in general. Maybe more relatable would be a better way of putting it.

Last night seemed like it should have been easy but I couldn't get it..
