Awhile ago, Shadow became good friends with a delivery driver named Jen.

Every time she brought a package Jen presented treats.

And gave lots of skritches.



I once asked if she had a dog. Jen said she had, at the time, just lost a puppy to disease. She was still grieving.
Shadow helped relieve the hurt.

Shadow saw her friend Jen today. They got reacquainted. I asked if she had a dog yet. Beaming, she said
she has rescued a dog called Cricket, who loves her new family.


Shadow was very glad to see her old friend again. The feeling was mutual.
