7. We got lucky

We arrived after torrential rains and it rained most of the first week.
We got mostly sunny weather the second week.

The only thing that is growing here is the lettuce in my garden, it really took off.

The one that seems to be growing out of the rocks looks like it belongs on a motivational poster, with a caption like "Perseverance"!
