Interesting buildings and architecture

here on St. Croix. Most buildings are considered historical so renovating can be challenging and costly. Additionally, although some buildings may look abandoned, owners have to be found, which be difficult as people move away, and heirs then have to be found. So any progress can be slow and in many cases non-existent.

So, I'm wondering: Are the vines holding up the buildings, or are the buildings holding up the vines?
