I was just making a final look at today's posts before going to bed, when I saw your wonderful photo! So glad I stopped in.
I suspect you were using a long lens; am I right? 
Whatever lens you were using, it did a superlative job with this photo.
The 100-400mm. It's the best I have for photographing wildlife in the wild.
