It was quite a surprise they seem to be finding lots of bugs. I did notice when they flew away and the flash of white

They use my house, and the neighbors house, for practice. The neighbor had to re-side his house due to the damage.

We had something happen at our hummingbird feeder the other day. My son saw male downy woodpecker land on it, and drink from the hummingbird feeder! Has anyone ever seen that? Love your "Woody Woodpeckers" photo. Thank so much for sharing. They are gorgeous birds!
