Blue dasher skimmer dragonfly last night at The Wetlands at Long's Park, Lancaster, PA.

One of my happiest memories is of me and my Dad watching a dragonfly emerge from the rather unlovely water beetle-looking stage and unfurl its wet, fragile wings, which straightened and stiffened and glimmered in the sun. Miraculous.
