Probably because I can usually find it, and it actually looks rather like what it is supposed to be. Most of them don't.

And for pretty much the same reasons!
Another one I like is (are?) the Pleiades.That's the only other one besides Orion and the Big Dipper that I can consistently recognize.

because it's a wide field photo and accurately portrays what the constellation looks like from most locations in the US (only the brightest stars are visible).
