Art in motion

A trio of belly dancers from the Art in Motion performance group were featured at a lawn party I attended Sunday. I had a wonderful time and now have a deeper appreciation for the art of belly dancing. The photo was shot in RAW without in-camera filters. I got the effect by manually changing settings in post processing.

I can almost feel the silk of her skirt.

I, too, once saw a real belly-dance performance, and it was a revelation. I have wanted to see another *real* performance ever since.
