I had a visitor at the Butterfly Bush

I've had Monarchs flying around all Summer but they have never landed long enough for me to get a photo. Until today, that is.

2. I have a lot of Milk Weed growing in my gardens

That really seems to attract Monarchs.

I have a tall blooming wildflower that is attracting the lone monarch who visits me every year around this time of year. I have not been able to get a decent photo yet.

We have not seen a single Monarch this year, even though we have the largest batch of Butterfly Weed, and Milkweed ever in the garden.
