May I ask what HDR is?

Of course, you can ask! HDR stands for High Dynamic Range. The camera varies the exposure over a series of 4 shots and combines them into a single image.
These were not ideal for this application as there wasn't enough variety in the photos. Not enough sun and shade, for example.
I do have things to learn!

(3,540 posts)That's what got me back into photography in a big way about seven years ago. I could never understand why my skies were always washed out with digital photography. Finally a friend turned me onto Snapseed and HDR.

They're really not very good, but those were my very first attempts at this sort of photo.
I will get better!
