ETA: The composition in this pic is just stunning. Placement and pose are so subtle but effective without my even noticing.

(9,922 posts)...but, yeah, if you start photographing more frogs and toads, you'll definitely want a diffuser made for that.
the pose was all the frog's decision....i just knew i had to get the shot quickly before she shifted....which she did.

(7,080 posts)Once, while canoeing, a frog crawled up the side of the canoe, jumped onto my thigh. hopped onto my shoulder, and then to the top of my head! Brightest green little guy. My husband could not stop laughing. I was charmed.
