for a wonderful treat! NOT @ the band stand, but on the lawn around the reflecting ponds in front of Lincoln Monument, thousands of Americans and others partying, picnicing, and awing and wowing @ the most FABULOUS light show! (WELL before the nut-jobs burst onto the public scene.)
