(133 posts)Decades ago, we had a cat named Casey. Which was a homophone for K.C., which stood for Killer Cat. He was everything your K.C. is not. Our Casey was a big, black, ugly, sadistic killer. He killed just for the pleasure of killing, not for food or seemingly any other reason.
Since we lived in a leaky mobile home in the woods, our Casey served us well in keeping the mouse population in check. He did have his standards, however. One time I caught a mouse in a mouse trap and tossed the carcass out on the deck, figuring Casey would eat it. He picked it up, carried it over to his food bowl and dropped it in. Then he gave me a withering stare as if to say, Dont you know where the food goes?
I still miss him.

(26,121 posts)His coloring is lovely, and he looks majestic in that photo. Are you required to address him and "Your Highness" as you serve him?
George McGovern
(6,047 posts)properly address him when he was focused on his cat food, so we settled on a Here Kitty.
