Long Cane Creek Trip

Headed out to the site of the Long Cane Creek Massacre and surrounding area. Kind of a dreary day all around but some interesting history way off the beaten path. Patrick Calhoun was the father of future Vice President John C. Calhoun.

American history is like that. The contrasts between yesterday's events and how things look today are often at odds with each other.
