He must be hugging it with his ring and pinky fingers. After the little "Wait a minute. Wait a minute"... he pulls it out and starts picking with it. I wish I could find more films of him playing acoustic because he's really fun to watch. All my life people have been saying that Hendrix was 'nothing but tricks and loud amps'. Well this film show me otherwise.

Used to sing this one on road trips with the kids back in the day along with a bunch of other ole timey songs .. but I only got turned on to Von Ronk recently on Pandora.. this piece in particular caught my attention and made me notice him. thanks for sharing Scuba!
