Paul Simon Hearing Loss

It's very hard to imagine his state of mind. Hopefully he can still hear well enough to listen to music.

I suspect he made it to 81 before losing his hearing in his left ear thanks to playing acoustic guitar. Not sure what the ratio of hearing loss & health is to RnR musicians.

To me, many people sound as if they are trying to talk through mouths filled with mashed potatoes. And those are my fellow performers, who are rigorous concerning their vocal clarity. The average person is almost unintelligible to me.
Got a really good idea how Simon feels!
