(17,750 posts)This is my first Martin and I fell in love with the feel of this guitar. I've been eyeing this one for a long time.

(69,715 posts)I've got a D-28E.
I also have one of the lower end models in 12 string.
I have my BiL's Martin. It's the old John Stewart model from the 60s. Nice playing guitar, but has a horribly ugly pickguard that covers the 70% of the top. I think it affects the upper end of the sound too.
Once i bought my Martin, i quit ever even thinking about having to get one really good acoustic. I already did. I paid $3,600 for it, 20 years ago.
I'm don't need one anymore,
I've got 13 guitars total, and all i do now is record. I use the same 5 guitars for everything, so unless i get a Les Paul and get rid of the SG, i'm done with buying guitars.
