Guitar Pickup Question/Opinion Request

Hola. I just ordered a set of Seymour Duncan Triple Shot P-Rails. My original plan was to put them in my Godin Freeway Classic (HSH)(this is not mine but is just like it):

https://images.reverb.com/image/upload/s--D5Ob-LgC--/a_exif,c_limit,e_unsharp_mask:80,f_auto,fl_progressive,g_south,h_1600,q_80,w_1600/v1532462312/evprwvwvzupx2uzrvard.jpg

BUT, I also have a Godin LGX-SA that is an LP style guitar, with 2 Seymour Duncan humbuckers with a 5 way switch:

https://images.reverb.com/image/upload/s--p98EAmBg--/a_exif,c_limit,e_unsharp_mask:80,f_auto,fl_progressive,g_south,h_620,q_90,w_620/v1477322760/u53qt0qoyidi4psquenx.jpg

This guitar, in addition to synth capabilities, has a 5 way switch (Neck-Neck split-Neck/Bridge HB-Bridge split-Bridge) plus piezo pickups, so I was thinking adding the PRails to this one would make quite a versatile guitar. My question is, what would that do to the 5 way switch? would it essentially be the same, except the split would be whatever part of the prail it's wired to? Would it be better to put them in the Freeway to take advantage of the 5 way switch there for Strat type out of phase sounds?

This is the first time in 35 years of playing and having owned dozens of guitars that I've changed the pickups on one, so I really don't know much about it.

thanks!

...but I had to mention that the blue one makes me want to learn how. That is just beautiful in that color!

Good luck with your tech.

The blue one (the LGX-SA) is even more beautiful in person, I think it's my favorite guitar I've ever owned. I play it constantly.
you should absolutely learn how to play if you want to, but I don't thing the LGX-SA is one to start with. Kind of a big investement.

thanks again!

Perhaps the image size and quality information is being parsed from the URL to load different images based on the device being used to view their site. The URL, even though it ends in jpg goes to an html page which serves up the final image.

The two solutions are: upload the image to a image host and use that web address (should work for any pictures that don't display here), or delete the image info from the reverb URL to point to the actual image file (fixes only reverb.com pictures).

In my opinion, the out of phase sound on the treble side is very desirable since it stands out in a mix and has a cool, funky sound.

Long time Strat player, here.
For clean & slightly gritty tones, that bridge/middle setting is cool.
The phasing hollows it out and we get the punch of the low & the ring of the highs. Always dug it.
