Not many tunes on it, and some of those are pretty long.
But, he dove headlong into new territory.

This is the second time I've played this since entering these years. In a few hours I'll have salmon and noodles with California champagne some good grass. I hope everything's going great for you.

The open mic night right by my house started back up last week. Good bunch of guys show up, so I'm going to start going again.

You and your wife becoming the next Marvin and Tammy, or Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga, please not Steve and Edie

Quite frankly, she's not at the level I would need for a duet.
Besides, I'm 100% committed to never playing with any singer who doesn't play, or any player who doesn't sing.
I decided that in 1986.

But there are plenty of players who can't sing, Bob Dylan, and you know how much I love is playing but Maceo Parker isn't all that melodic

..the fact that they exist doesn't change that I don't want to play with them.
I've had the experience of having a lead singer with poor enough technique that I'd have to sing the entire 3rd set on the second night, so said singer could contribute nothing for a third of that night, I was already singing 3 songs per set.
What really annoyed me was that with me taking the lead meant the high harmony I did was missing. Changed how the song was supposed to sound. It didn't help that the guy, a few years later, asked me to do the keyboard parts on one of his songs (studio work). I had come up with the hook, the bridge, and wrote the 3rd verse lyrics. When his single was pressed, my name was not on there.
I wrote half the song, the arrangement was mine & I actually played on the record.
Soured me further on working with a nonplayer. He had 3 chords on an acoustic guitar and 2 verses, and thinks he's a songwriter. :

That could have sung like an angel played like Hendrix written like Lennon and McCartney and he still would have been an ass. So to paraphrase one monkey shouldn't put you off on all monkeys. No offense
