Our version was more like the G3 version, including the modulation.
But, great tune when hosting a jam, because it can easily be stretched to allow guest players to blow. (Not that they all could actually play, but that's an occupational hazard of hosting a jam night.)
My buddy & I recorded a version on his gear at his home studio which he named "Shabby Road".
