...would ask to sing this at jam night.
Pretty much every band that hosted the night had him up there. This song & Can't You See.
He wasn't a great singer but he wasn't awful either. We figured "his joint, his rules".
Besides, he really liked us, as a band & personally. Couldn't say no.
As you may have guessed, I'd play piano on this song. Song screams piano.

You are so beautiful being another. In a few degrees of separation I took my mom to see Leon Russell, turned out to be just him playing the piano and singing kind of a small Club. Rare treat
