...and their look were incongruous.
Not sure why, but I always pictured them as very clean cut, preppy looking.
Then I saw them on TV back in the day and thought "Well, this is not what I expected."

I expected them to look like longshoremen. Kenosha used to be a port city so I was used to seeing them.

I just had the wrong impression from the sound of the song.
I never get it right when I picture what a radio personality looks like either.
Obviously, matching look to sound isn't my thing.
