When our internet, TV and cell phones were all down, I went thru our vinyl collection and guess what?
I found seven Moody Blues albums:
The Story In Your Eyes from their album Every Good You Deserves Favour ,released in 1971. The songs opening guitar lick is one of the most recognizable in classic rock history.
Its Up to You from A Queston of Balance released in 1970.
Eternity Road from To Our Childrens Childrens Children released in 1969. Ray Thomas wrote the song about his childhood experience during the blitz. Sitting in the bomb shelter, his mother and their neighbors would say Hark and Listen, and Here He Comes as the German bombers flew over
Out and In, from To Our Childrens Childrens Children released in 1969. It was a concept album about space travel with the opening song similar to a rocket ship blasting off. The crew of Apollo 15 listened to it in 1971 on cassette tape.
Your Wildest Dreams inspired by Justin Hayward reminiscing about his first love, from their album, The Other Side of Life, released in 1986.
Dawning Is The Day from A Question of Balance released in 1970. Justin Haywards guitar strumming was recorded at half speed while recording then speeding up for the recording.
