I'm one of them! But, I play 12 string about half the time, so I'm a sucker for those types of songs

I used to dedicate this song to those musicians/singers we had lost that year. I do remember dedicating the tune to Freddie Mercury and Eric Carr the last few times I played it. (I have not performed this tune since the mid-nineties.)

3. I'm Not Even A Big PF Fan, But...

...I really like this song.
You using it the way you did was most appropriate.
As opposed to people using "Every Breath You Take" as a wedding song or Green Day's big hit as a reunion song! i think people didn't really listen to the words!

5. Saw It With My Own Eyes

My wife said to me "Did they listen to these lyrics?" She didn't need to hear Sting's explanation. She knew the whole time it was not a love song!
And, the couple is up there smiling & dancing.
They were divorced after about 3 years. She was a dope & she wanted to "change" him. Except he was a good guy with a good job. Not sure what she thought needed changing. BTW: she picked the song.
