Used to play it over and over would get chills when the sax played. The whole instrumental part with the the cello and guitar was sublime

But, the melodic acoustic guitar solo & then the searing electric solo that leads into it.
3 or 4 moods set in the span of 50 seconds! Terrific!

Covered it in '78/'79.
The arrangement is impeccable, the production is outstanding, & Al sure can paint a picture with his lyrics.

I came to know him thru his albums "Year of the Cat" and "Time Passages"

But I listen most, to his 1973 album "Past, Present and Future". It's not as pop oriented, but I think perhaps his best.
