I certainly can see this sunny, giant granny square will soon be a popular family heirloom. It will no doubt get lots of use, not just as a coverlet for the bed, but everyone will want to haul out to the sofa or easy chair and wrap up in that warm comfy softness.

I use my well loved old Afghan to snuggle up with the furbabies, grandkids, or the mister to read or binge watch TV. It's the best thing to hide under when I don't feel good. Made back in the day when girls did that sort of needlecraft as preparatory for marriage, it's soothed 3 generations and is still going strong.

May you enjoy the efforts of your hard work for many years to come.
