Related: About this forumTCM Schedule for Tuesday, September 6: Classic Movie Puppets, Part 1
TCM's daytime theme is Eccentric Artists, and is "eccentric" ever an understatement.
And I hope none of you are given to having nightmares, because this evening TCM is starting its Classic Movie Puppets two-parter with the decidedly creepy type of puppets in films such as the Ealing Studios classic Dead of Night and the 1978 Magic, which features Anthony Hopkins' memorable turn as a ventriloquist.
For a comic relief, there are Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy shorts. No word on whether Mortimer Snerd will be on hand; you'll just have to watch and find out.
