Related: About this forumAnyone have experience with online art classes? I think I might sign up at skill share. I'd prefer
live classes, but this might do for a while.

(120,477 posts)The classes were live at a local art school before that but the classes had to go online via Zoom in 2020. It works pretty well - we send photos of our work before and during the class and the instructor puts them up on screen share and offers suggestions about technique, materials, etc. Most of the students are local people who were attending the live classes, but a few sign in from vacation cabins if they're on vacation, and one student is in Germany. In some ways I like it even better than the live classes because of the commentaries on everyone's work.
